Heather Schlegel is a futurist tracking the future of money, economies, identity, wearable tech, relationships, augmented intelligence and humanity. She is best known by her online moniker, Heathervescent. Her research has been covered in the New York Times, CNN, American Banker, CNBC, Fox and the Atlantic.
Schlegel produces podcasts on the Future of Money and the Future of Wearables. Her short film “Fly Me to the Moon” showing a vision of future payments, was nominated for Most Important Futures Award by the Association of Professional Futurists. She speaks, researches and consults through her company, The Purple Tornado.
